Newton and Hoole Weekly Round Up.

Dear Resident,

It has been a busy week on days for me this week. With the schools now open for business, I have been spending some time during the end of school to assist with parking. Both Hoole and Newton schools were patrolled and there was some questionable parking!! I have contacted CWaC about the persistent parking on double yellow lines, and they have informed me that they will be out in the area for kick out times soon. 

Whilst on school patrol I was asked by some local children about the laws on electric bikes. Some may find it confusing to know what is and what isn’t legal when purchasing an electric bike for others. As well as this I have been holding surgeries, attended an Impact Day with Sanctuary Housing, conducted hi vis foot patrols in areas known to us for anti-social behaviour and have spent some time with the young people on their bikes at Live! At New Scene.
